The unit pictured above is the Acteon P5 Suprasson Newtron XS, stand alone with water. The Satelec unit is relatively identical. The Acteon Satelec piezo unit has the widest frequency range, highest power unit available, which ultimately results in the largest vibration amplitude. Vibration amplitude can be used as a measure of the unit tip's ability to do work or, in this case, remove unwanted material from the tooth's surface.
