The Dentsply Cavitron Bobcat Pro is a quality 25kHz ultrasonic scaler. Dentsply pioneered the cavitron type ultrasonic dental scalers, and continues to lead the pack in quality, dependability, and function. Magnetically produced ultrasonic vibrations provide maximum plaque and calculus removal via tip contact and cavitation bubbles which reach pockets between teeth and below gum line.
Cavitron Bobcat - Small Footprint
Equipped with a modern enclosure with capability for vertical or horizontal orientation, the Cavitron BOBCAT Pro is a versatile and economical ultrasonic scaler. Foot pedal is weighted to help eliminate foot stress. 25kHz magnetostrictive scaler tips and inserts for this unit are made also by Hu-Friedy and others. This highly rated unit is a good entry level product for hygienists new to ultrasonics.
