Dentsply's trademarked Cavitron is the standard to which other magnetostrictive ultrasonic scalers are measured. The Cavitron SPS series holds true to that name without the bulk of earlier models. Light, portable, and powerful. The unit measures 7.5" by 9.5", and 4" tall. A wide array of 30kHz scaler tips are available from DENTSPLY and others.
The Cavitron® SPS™ scaler produces 30,000 microscopically small strokes per second at the insert’s working tip. This combined with acoustic effects of the coolant water, produces an action that helps remove deposits with minimal operator effort. The SPS is easy on the patient as well, and helps minimize their time in the chair.

The Dentsply Cavitron Select SPS provides proven performance in a unit that won't dominate your counter space.
